this weekend
this weekend.... i really want to film the opening scene of the drunk driving film with jason. he said he should be available saturday afternoon. Matt? Clint? Clint, do you think you could see if donovan is available as a production assistant?
Donovan usually works on Saturdays at 4, I don't work saturdays anymore though so if ya really need him, doing it before then would be best. I can see if he can trade with someone else for that shift, but I doubt it.
depending whether matt is available before 4, we can film earlier, i was even thinking before lunch. there will definitely be a pizza party following filming.
also, there's a slight problem with the opening scene. jason brought it to my attention. since the character has such a high tolerance, drinking 2 bottles of jim beam shouldn't make him fall on the floor. but then if we don't have the character fall and stumble, how could it still be funny?
yeah, you're probably right. we have to get Matt on this site. I was at home depot before work looking at light stands. I can't find one that goes higher than 6 feet. We may have to improvise with an adjustable pole and attach some lights to it or something. Also, I want to go to radio shack and look at a boom mike, but i'm not sure if my camera has a microphone port, i'll have to recheck.
got a light stand last night. it goes up to 6' but I think we can improvise if we need more height. i still do hate everything about walmart, but i got a good deal on it.
so as always, no one really knows what's happening with the snow/sleet/ice/bullshit friday. i still want to film on saturday. i'm thinking 12:00, weather permitting, but matt has a 4X4 he can use, and clint has a car that he doesn't care if he crashes, so its all good.

He's a skinny little guy, there's no way he could have a high tolerance for the hard stuff.

Radioshack doesn't even have any, I'd say gotta find a cheap substitute or a real cheap one online. Boom mic's aren't cheap in the first place.
